The visitors won by 6 goals to 3. .For the winners, goals were scored by Misses Searcll, M. ! Marsh (3), J. Marsh, and Martin, and the scorers for Otago were- Misses Fisher (2) and Foster. GREY HAIR. The building is of great- historical importance, and according to Froissart and other.historians, it was the scene of important conferences ' between, the Earl of Douglas and the other Scottish leaders immediately prior to the invasion of .England 'arid the Battle of OUcrbiirn, It is proposed to record the historical associations- of the building ou a commemoration tablet, and the proposed work will form a lasting' memorial of tho great battle of the gallant Douglas. About the year 1690 the walls of the' church fell in. Since then it has been in'ruins, and a new church was erected, which in course of time also fell into ruins, and 'another one, was erected about fifty years ligo.
