LODGE MEETING.
The Star, of Newtown Lodge of Good . • Templars held its weekly. session on Wednesday evening last in the St. Thomas's Schoolroom. Bro. P. J. ' Atkinson presided over a ' large attendance of members and visitors. The brothers of the lodge presented Sister Allan on the, sisters' behalf with several useful articles for the kitchen. The lodge then went into recess, for., the purpose of enjoying a musical programme contributed to by the. following:—Sisters Millan and' M. Hyde, Bros. Jlillan, Atkinson, G. Price, Howitt, Patterson, W. Price, and In- . gram. It was decided to bold a mock election next meeting riight, and all the city and suburban lodges will ba , invited to take part. - .'•
