TOURIST RESORTS.
Sir,—Parliament being in session I wish to make a suggestion as follows:—Rutorna is our chief tourist resort of this colony to which people from the uttermost ends of our civilisation travel to em in all its wonderment—lakes, geysers, springs, etc. Yet how many of our people who were born and live in this country have' witnessed the great sights to Lo seen there, and experienced the good which may be achieved by a visit? No pen can describe TCotorun and its environments. Our railways hayo been a source of trouble with all Ministers to make a paying concern. We have special trains for children's entertainment in various ways for purposes of education. Now,' why, if we have such a .wonderland at our very door, does not our Government make some suggestion to. induco all people born in our colony to pay a visit' and see the greatest of Nature's sights known in this whole world ?—I am, W. DICKSON.
