Reuter's correspondent states thafc the Clan, Ellerman,. and Harrison lines' now Hast African combination service is strongly resent'ed in Germany, especially as the Union Castle Line is starting in September next. The situation is aggravated by the dispute between the German and British lines respecting Australian passenger rates.
