The Land- Union, an organisation which was formed in May to combat the land, policy of the Liberal party, working in co-operation with the "Daily Mail," has formulated a scheme to enable pensioners to acquire rural cottages, with small holdings, on the instalment system, repayment- to bo made at the rate of from'l2s. a. week for a .-period of thirty years.
