SOUTH. AFRICAN TEAM COMING. By Teleerauli—Press Association-OoDyrißhi. ' Cape Town, August! 11. It is now definitely announced -that, despite the refusal of a guarantee by Australia, South Africa will send a cricket team to Australia, in pursuance of the scheme of triangular test matches arranged in June of last year. Mr. Abo Bailey and the Transvaal Cricket Union are the principal guarantors of the £5000 guarantee which the South. African Association required beforo sending the team.
A DEFINITE SETTLEMENT. (Rec. August 12, 8.40 p.m.) .. ' Sydney,' August 12. Tho Board of Cricket Control has received the following cable message from the' South African Cricket Association: A guarantee has been arranged here. Will send a team on the terms of your letters. Tho February arid June letters referred to offered Soiith Africa half tho gross receipts from the matches in Australia.
