LANGFORD-KAUFMANN FIGHT. Bjr Telegraph—Preee Association—Copyright San Francisco, August 11. The Langford-Kaufmann fight, which was to have taken placo in Philadelphia to-night, has been cancelled. Langford agreed to take a percentage of the receipts, but then demanded 7500 dollars. FAMOUS DEAD. San Francisco, August 11. The death is announced of Joo Gans, the pugilist, from , consumption. Gans was generally considered to have been the fastest and cleverest of tho lightweight champions.
