THREE DELEGATES DEALT WITH. ' . (By TclegrapU.—Press Association.) -Dunedin, August 10. At a meeting of the committee of. the : Otago Lawn Tennis Association.a letter ; was received from Mr. E. Salmond, one : of the association's delegates,- on the New Zealand Association, explaining his reasons fpr voting against direct instruc- .' tions to support tho holding of the New Zealand championships in Dunedin. ' : It. was stated by, Mr. Black, president of- the ■ association, 'that, at • the last' . meeting of the New Zealand Association, .: three. delegates representing Otago, had : voted directly against specific instruc- \ tionsi' in spite' of .the fact that he challenged them before the vote was taken, , and one delegates was hostile to him all : through the, meeting. ■ , It was unanimously resolved that the : three, delegates in question (Messrs. Mai- j colin .Ross, E. Salmond, and J. A. B. Howe) should have 'their' appointments j as"delegates to the New. Zealand Association cancelled, .as.it was considered useless to have men representing a pro- i vince who disregard its wishes. I CRICKET.
