The allegations of rough play in a match played at the Athletic Park on Saturday .lasi, leading to the serious injury of a player, were briefly considered by the Wellington Rugby, Union in committee last evening. It wa6 decided to hold an inquiry on Friday evening next, at whicli the members of both teams concerned will bej required to attend. Tho presence of' the referee and of the lino umpires will also lie requested. In view of probable police proceedings tho inquiry will be conducted in camera.
