RIGHT OF APPEAL., (By Ttlecraph-Pfesa Association.! ■ Christchurch, August 8. y: The further information in the income tax prosecutions .relating to the'return for the - year ending September 30, 1906, will be "mentioned in the Magistrate's Court to-inorrow, and an application for an adjournment will be made. " It should be explained in connection with the case already disposed of that an assessment of the amount of income tax and penalty duo has yet to bo made, and tho parties are entitled to bo heard in. connection therewith before the magistrate. After the magistrate has given , his decision there is still the right of appeal. ■It is considered probable that, the parties will finally determine the amount due on the previous case before proceeding with the next information. - —f 1
