Sir, —Jl, has boon admitted by our Primo' Minister that the Dominion interest in.. the Bank of New Zealand amounts to ono and a half million pounds. That being so, does • it. not seem reasonable to expect that tho bank authorities should endeavour to liavo their notes and other matter printed in the Dominion. 1 undorstaud that tho Government Printing Utlico -is fully equipped and capable of printing bank notes by the sapio process as is used to produce tho present issue. If I am correctly informed this work should not be allowed to go abroad, particularly from an institution in which the Government is so largely interested. —I,am, etc.,
