On arrival at Dunedin on Saturday, the Moerald withdraws from the lntercolonia servico for overhaul, and her running will be taken up by the llaitai. which maken the trip to Bluff, nobart, Melbourne, and hack. The Monowai, which was originally fixed to relieve tho Mocraki, will continue in the East Coast running between Dunedin and Auckland. , .......
The s.s. Mangupapa is advised to.lcavo for Westport.and Karamea to-morrow, at 4 p.m. On comnletinK discharge at this port the Kotuku will go to Greymouth. Tho Kaitangata, which left for Westport last night, is to load for this port again, anu is due on Friday or Saturday. Tho Government steamer ninemoa was fixed to,leave Bluff at 8 o'clock last night for West Coast Sounds and lighthouses. She is due back in Wellington in. about ten days' time.
Aii expected arrival to-night is iho coastal steamer Defender from Lyttelton. She. is to be dispatched to Picton ana Hokitika to-morrow. Messrs. Dalgety and 00. have- been appointed local agents lor the coastal steamer Wairau. Altogether some 311 third-clasß passengers are coming to the Dominion by the Shaw, Savil! and Albion Company's steamer lonic, which is due hero next Tuesday from London and Plymouth, via. the usual ports. Baird, late of the- Tutanckai, haa joined tho vessel as third engineer. It is hoped to dispatch the Eimutalia for Lyttelton this afternoon.
