Wolfo has made another unsuccessful attempt to swim the Channel. He covered twelve miles, but was compelled to abandon the- swim on account of a rising wind and swell. In July, 1908, Wolfo swam 35 miles in 11 hours in an unsuccessful attempt to cross the Channel, and in August, 1907, ho covered 38 miles in 15 hours 16mm.
