Mr. Brown has intimated that he will ask. tho Minister for Labour whether hu ..will get Section 7.0f the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Act; 1908, amended,'to read thus;—"Eyory penalty hereinbefore, referred to shall be recoverable at the suit of an Inspector of Awards, or at "tho suit of any party to the iwanl. or- industrial agrccmsnt, in the same manner as a penalty for a breach of air award-.or agreement, and all tho provisions - hereinafter contained in this Act with respect to the enforcement of an award of .agreement shall, so far. as applicable, apply accordingly.' 1 .
Mr. Jennings intends to ask tho Minister for Agriculture whether ho will take into consideration the suggestion, that,. in regard to .the registration of stock, a system to be known as the Leger system could be brought into operation, so as to prevent stockpilfering. ■•
Mr. T. E. Taylor, is asking the Prime Minister whether tho Government will refrain from making any definite promise te found a National Art GalJory in Wellington until the. art societies in Christchurch and other, centres have been fully consulted, and the claims of existing art societies have been fully protected. "
Mr. Wilford has decided to ask tho Minister for Railways whether ho'will order a flying survey of the route via Akatarawa and Waikanae, in order that railway communication may be established between the cast, and , west coast of the North Island, thus saving the country tho'expense of tho Rimutaka route
