In acknowledging Iris election to -t'h'o presidential chair, Mr. William Perry said they had a very important year, in front of them. They had to provide for .the largest show of stock and the* largest attendance of the public ever seen, in .the Wairarapa., .Provision was being made for a. members' paddock, arid there would be facilities, for picnicking at the new grounds. He thought tha townspeople should endeavour to provide the necessary accommodation for the visitors to tho show. "If," said he. |, "you will find the accommodation, we 'will find the. people." He expressed'the opinion that tho tradespeople of tho town should close their premises' at 11 o'clock on the day of the ' show. This would give everybody an opportunity,of going to the show.
