DISAPPOINTED 'CROWDS AT BLACKPOOL.' By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. July 29,10.35 p.m.) London, July 29. An unfavourable wind, and tho consequent lack of preparations by tho airmen, prevented any exhibition of aeroplaning on the day fixed for the opening of the Blackpool aviation meofcing for which £12,000 had been subscribed by members of tho. Lancashire Aero Club. Disappointed crowds broke the barriers, and the police had difficulty in', protecting the officials. The people's entrance-money was refunded. AEROPLANES BURNT. • London, July 28. Two aeroplanes belonging to Mr. A. V. Roe were burnt on a train at Lancashire while in transit to Blackpool.
