At a mooting" nf the New Zealand Cricket Council, the following statement of receipts :md expenditure in connection with the tour of the Australian team showed that the receipts wero as follow:— Amounts of guarantees, .£llOO. . Proceeds of test matches:—First match (at Christchurch): Gross . takings, iSMI 25., hiss ground charges ami expenses, ~£lO3 13s. Bd.; net takings, JE237 Bs. 4d. Second tat match (at Wellington): Gate receipts, .£203 Hs. Cd., less City Council's share of 5 per cent, £U 13s. 9d.; net gatu receipts, £279 2s. Ud.; enclosure uud stand, £SH 13s. Ud.; afternoon ten, .£3 Is. (id.; total net takings, .£3OB ISs. Refunds by non-members of Aus-' tralian team for fnres andcarriago of luggage, £ii 10s. 3d. Total receipts, J51730 16s. 7d. The expenditure was as follows: — Amount guaranteed by New Zealand • Cricket Council, .£2OO. Expenses :—First test match, JEIGO 18s. 3d.; of second test match, ,£l9'.!. 3s. 4d.; general expenses of the tour. .£IO2O 16s: lid. '■ ; Balanco in Bank of New Zealand, Christchurch, .£l5O 2s. lid. The principal items included in tho general expenses were:—Daily allowance of ss. per member of team, ,£238 55.; steamer fares, .£205 25.; railway fares, £Wi os. 7d.j hotel expenses, X 285 19s. 6d.; expenses of assembling team at Sydney, <£57 3s.;.washing and tips, .£SO. The. secretary (Mr. F. C. Raphael) stated that the. above figures were only tentative, as certain figures had not come to hand from the Board of-'Control. He thought that £SU would cover tho additional expenditure,, and .£SO would more than/cover it. . Tho recommendation to make a refund to Hawke's , . Bay was agreed to. An amendment to increase the amount to £35 was negatived. - ' • The secretary of the council was voted i'-'o, in recognition of his services during the past season. It was reported that the Management Committee were in communication with the M.C.C. and the Board of Control, asking their consent to the extension of the tour of the. M.C.C. team which is visit Australia in 1011-12 to New Zealand.

The offer which Lord . Hawke made, through the ' Auckland Association, ,to provide a shield or cup.for competition amongst the minor associations of the Dominion was referred to the Management Committee to consider and report.
