PETONE UNITED MISSION.

A very successful meeting in connection with Dr. Henry's Petono mission was held at the "Woollen Mills in the' lunch hour on Wednesday. Iho workers attended in large numbers and took an active part in the meeting. A 3 p.m. Dr. Henry gave a Bible reading in the l'rcsi.yteriau Church. There was a splendid attendance. Mr. Potts led the singins, and also gave a solo. At 7.30 the soug service opeiied. A feature of this was tho part taken by the audience, who sang lustily in response to Mr. Potts's call. At 8 o'clock, when Dr. Honrv took charge, the hall was packed. Dr. Henry's subject, "Dying Like a Pool," was iinndk'd'in a very solemn iashion, and held the close attention of the people. Mr. Potts sang two solos. At the close, in response to an appeal, a number of those present • iniido profession.
