Small ewe hoggets, 10s. 2d.; owe hoggets, 12a. 6d., 12s. lid., to Us. 6d.; two-tooth to s.m. ewes in lamb, 13s. 6d.; mi.ted hoggets, lCs. 2d. to 12s. 9d. (tor extra good); fat ewes, 13s. 6ti. 'to 15s. ■«.; yearling steers. £2 45.; small 18-month3 steefs, £3 to £3 2s. 6d. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our sale.at Palmerrtou iNortn, on Thursday, we had a heavy yarding 01 both sheep and cattle. There was au exceptionally good attendance of buyers, and sheep of all classes met with a ready sale Cattle were also in keen demand. We quote :-Sheep: S.M. ewes in Jamb, 10s., Ms. 2d., 12s. Bd., to 165.; fat ewes, 12s. 6d, 13s. 6d., to: Us. 9d.; two and four-tooth empty ewes, 12s. 4d.: mixed hoggets, 10s. 2d.' 10s. 5d., 11s. 10d., to 125.; forward ewes. 7s. lOd.j fat wethers, 15s. 5d.; cull ewes, 3s. 7d. Cattle: Two and a half-year steers, £5: ditto, Rmall, £4 45.; springing heifers, £5 to £5 165.; dairy cows, £4 to £7; store cows, £2 25.. .£3 95., £3 12s. 6d., to £3 155.; fat cows, £5 15s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Aooncv Co. report:—At Palnierston Ivorth sale, 611 Thursday, we had a heavy yard, ing of sheep and a good, entry of cattle. Bidding was fairly brisk throughout, and wo were able to clear the whole of.our entry with one or two small exceptions. V/e quote :-Shecp: Cnll ewes, ss. to 7s. 6d.; sound breeding ewes, Ms. Id., Us., 4d., to 155.; wethers, 155.; cull hopsets. 4s. 3d.; small hogsets. 9s. 3d.: medium, hoggets, 11s. 2(1.
