BROOKLYN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

On ■ Tuesday eveniug tho annual business meeting of the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church was hold. Tlio Bev. jj. xlutsou presided, and the reports of the various departments of Church work were read.

; The session report dealt with the encouraging state of the spiritual affairs oi the congregation; 27 now members r » M 6ll added during the year, and 1G had left the district. The roll iiow numbered 69 members. The Sunday School had —09. names on the roll; with an averago attendance of 151, and there ivere 15 teachers. The week-nitrht Riblt Class, with 2U members, reported a .year of satisfactory work done.. The Christian Workers' Glass, composed, of older members of the Church, reported a membership of 18, and that the monthly open meetings were well attended, especially by men, many of them coming up from tho city. " Tho iinanninl report mentioned that the largest undertaking had been the addition of three rooms for Bible Class and Sunday School work." This work had cost about .1)150, although the bulk of tho work hacl been done by volunteer labour. The treasurer's statement showed a small credit balance on the general income fund, but the present income was about .£"2O less than i the estimated expenditure for the ensuing year. Hearty appreciation was expressed at the work accomplished by the minister, office-bearers, choir, Sabbath School teacher, and other imrkers; and tlio outlook, was considered Vfci.i hopeful. Messrs. Hill and Pnrdie were re-elected as members of committcc, and Messrs. Christie, Lawson, • and Struthers were elected as new members.
