EXTRAORDINARY PROSPERITY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. July 28, 1.5 a.m.) Sydney, July 27. Tho State Treasurer, in asking the Assembly for Supply'(totalling .£5,351,000) till tho end of November, when the new Parliament is expected to meet, said the year had been an extraordinarily prosperous one, and had ended with a surplus of .6981,000. The railway revenue was .£375,000 in excess, of that of the previous year.
