SAILORS' REST.

The usual fortnightly concert mute* the auspices of St. Patrick's Seamen's Conference of tho Society of; St. Vincent de Paul was given in the Sailors' liestlast evening. There was a large attendance of seafaring men and waterside workers, the programme'submitted being of the usual 'high standard- to which -the following ladies and gentle-' men contributed:—Piano solo, Miss M. Frith; song, Mr..A; Dunne; song, Miss Murphy; recitation, Mr. S. 'Waters: song, Mr. L. Domb; comic sketch, Mr. Nicol; song, Mrs. Allen; song, Mr. F. Duncan;'Marionette'sketch and piccolo solo, Mr. P. A. Lawler; song, Miss M. Frith;'comic sketch, Mr. C. Lansdowne. The accompaniments were efficiently played by Miss Frith and Mr. C. Lansdowne. Captain Bonner returned thanks to the performers.
