WELLINGTON TRAMWAYS.
Sir,—Whilst in your city last week I was much struck with tho expedition and up-to-date running time of your electric cars, but one thing that struck mo very forcibly was that, jf tho management compelled passengers to go out ono way, and come in tho other end, it would save an enormous amount of timo and a quick dispatch of each tram. Also, if I may remark upon the agitation now going on regarding'the Johnson-Joffrios light pictures—if some of the atrocious theatrical pictures displayed .on hoardings, and plays produced in the Dominion theatres, were barred, it would bo a godsend to the rising generation.—l am,, etc., . A COMMERCIAL VISITOR, Greymouth, July 21.
