WRONGFULLY ACCUSED 01' MURDER. A RAG-PICKEB CONFESSES. By TeleEraph-Press Association— Oopyrleht Paris, July 22. .Dourreau,. a rag-picker at Tours, confessed to the murder of five children belonging to a farmer named Brierre, near Chartres, in 1909. Brierru was sentenced to death for the crime, but the sentence was commuted. Brierre died recently, protesting his innoccnce.

Dourreau states that he went to the farm and received bread. He slept in the barn. In the early morning he tolled the sleeping children, and after a fierce struggle stabbed Brierre, the father, and then decamped. Before confessing, Dourreau attempted to commit suicide. He has' a bullet wound in the arm.
