Messrs. Dalgely and Co., Ltd., report on their fortnightly sale, lield at Elibta-huna, yesterday, as follows:—In spite of the bad weather, we had a very fair yarding of both sheep and cattle, and have to report a total clearance. Sheep sold well in advaiico of late sales, hoggets particularly so. Cattlo also sold exceptionally well. We quote :-Shcop: Hoggets, 11s. 3d., Us. 10d., 12s. 3d. to 12s. 4d.; ewes in luinb 10s. 9d. to 11s. 3d.; poorer sorts, ss. 6d. to 7s. 2d. ,: Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows:—We held our monthly stock sale ut Ongaroa on July 21, when wo offered a fair entry of sheep and caUle n a good attendance of buyers. Bidding throughout was citreuiely brisk, especially, for wethers and lionets, which sold well. Quotations :rat ewes (s.-jall), Us. 6d.; 2 and 4-tooth ewes, in lamb, 12s. 5d.; l!O""ets (small), Bs. 6d. and 95.; cull hopcgots, 6s. Id.; wethers, 13s. 3d., 14s.
