JUMPS THE TRACK.
LOCOMOTIVE FALLS INTO A RIVER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. Brisbane, July 22. While crossing the Johustone River, at Geraldine, a locomotive left the track and crashed into a river. The driver jumped clear, hut the fireman (Hoppe) was pinned underneath the engine by -both legs, and was drowned.
