ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FATAL PALL OF COAL. (By Tclecraph—Press Association.! YVestport, July 21. A miner named Lenhe, working "in the Coalbrookdalo mine, was struck by a fall of coal and jammed against a tub. lie had ail arm broken, and suffered internal injuries, and died in the hospital. Deceased came from Kiripaka, Auckland, a month ago, and his widow resides there. SUDDEN DEATH. Auckland, July 21. A sudden death occurred at Newmarket to-day. A man named Patrick Jl'Call, a labourer, employed by II r. J. Griiiin, contractor for the sewerage works, was engaged with another man in taking down the timbers of a drain. The other man had his back to M'Call, and on turning round saw M'Call sitting in the bottom of the drain, tie could find no sign of life in M'Call, and a doctor who was called in found that death had occurred: it is supposed that the caufo of death was heart disease.
