COURT OF APPEAL.
' WIDTH OF WINGFIELD STREET. Tho encroachment alleged to have been inade on Wingfield Street, Thorridon, half a century ago and still continuing, was the subject for the argument in the- Court of Appeal yesterday morning and. afternoon. Justices Williams, Edwards, Cooper, and Chapman wero on the Bench. The appellant swere Italia Corich, owner of certain land at Wingfield Street, the Government Insurance Commissioner, mortgagee (both of whom wore'represent- ' td bv Mr. R. C.-: Kirk), and the District Lund RegishaT (represented by Mr. C. X'. Skcrrett, K.C.). The respondent was the Wellington City Corporation, to which tlie Chief Justice, in the judgment against which the appeal was_ made, had awarded the strip of land ,iri dispute. Mr. J.
