The association will hold an annual "social" at a future date, and probably other function!* during the year.' Officers elected pro tcm. are-.—President, Mr. J. Ilprne (ex-headmaster); vice-presidents, Messrs. W. Foster (present headmaster), — .fopliu (ex-headmast<?r), J. Lynskey, and (!. Pringle, Mesdamts Boyd and Evans, and Miss Slater; committee, Messrs. U. E. Johnson. H. Cate, D. G. Frasor, Mrs. Boyd, and Miss Bennett. Mr. A. Packard will net is secretary and Mr. Oslen as treasurer.

HUTT BOWLING CLUB. The seventh annual report, and balance sheet to be presented at the annual meeting of the Hiitt Bowling and Tennis Club, to l)o held this month, states that the receipts for the year totalled ■Sail, and the expenditure amounted to JiGOS. The year thus ends with a debit balance of JCO7. 'The club's assets are valued at \£2285 and the liabilities at .£lß9l, leaving a balance of assets over liabilities of £Wl. During tho year the club had to yield pride of place to Wanganui in the contest for the Duthie Cup. The bowling competitions wore won by the following members:—junior singles,. D. M'Kenzio; championship 1 pairs. A. Jlacaskill and C. Seymour; championship singles. M. M'Gurk; president's medal, 11. -M'Gurk. In the tennis division, the attendances during the season were small. Tho inter-club's competitions were won by Miss Foster. Mr. Wagg, and Mr. B.' Green. The playing of tennis on Sunday was prohibited. The club membership now stands at lu'7, of whom 8G are bowlers. Concluding the report ' expresses thanks to the Green Committee, and to Messrs. Hendry (president), Jackson, and ttishwortli for the donations of trophies.
