EXTKAQBDINAEY: MEETING.
An extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the Hangaramarama Co-operative Cheese Company, Ltd., was held on. Monday last, to consider certain alterations:to>the articles of association recommended by the directors. The special motions were taken seriatim, tho first motion being that Clause 6 of the articles' of association be altered to read:'. "Seven members■ personally ,present shall form a qnorum for the annual or any general meeting." . It was agreed that the voting should be on the principle of one man one vote. Clause 8 was altered ;so as to make the annual general meeting fall on the second Saturday in August instead of the first. It was resolved the .remuneration- to the directors be' 10s.- per meeting and to -the chairman 12s. 6d.
The following by-law'-was adopted:— Should any shareholder at any time during the season sell any of his-.milk otherwise. than to the JlangaraniaTama Co-operative Cheese. Company, Ltd., then the price that such shareholder shall recm? for milk supplied to .the' company shall be the same as the. company shall pay Mr milk supplied by non-share-holders during the season." this regulation ■is applicable only to shareholders within a two-mile radius.—Exchange.
