LODGE MEETING.
The Pioneer Lodge, No. 11, 1.0. G.T., held its weekly session in the Rechabite 'Hall, Manners Street, on Monday evening when Bro. H. J. Millan, C.T., presided over a very good attendance of members and friends. After routine business had been disposed of a musical programme was provided as follows:— Song, Bro. Nwton'(3); recitation, Bro. R. -Reid; song, iSis. : Collins; Japanese fiddle- solo, Bro. Sutton (encore); song, Bro. Reid. Bro.' H. J. Millan gave an interesting address on the order. Previous to the above meeting .the Fern Leaf Lodge. from H.M.S. Pioneer was instituted by Bros. A. B. Thomson, R. H. Rigarlsford, 11. J. Millan, and G. Pet'lierick, Grand Lodge officers. Two candidates joined the new lodge, together with a-number,of members who had previously joined other local lodges. Hearty votes of thanks to visitors were carried by acclamation.
