LABOUR SHORTAGE.
CANADIAN RESTRICTIONS < REMOVED. By Telegraph—Pretw Association—Oopyrtebt (Rec. July 20, 9.15 p.m.) Ottawa, July 20. In consequence of tho representations made by the transcontinental railway contractors as to the shortage of labour, the Canadian Government has decided to admit railway construction labourers from' all countries, except Asiatic ones* provided the contractors or railway companies guaranteed the'men work.
