The financial affairs of Victoria College will sEortly be laid before the Governmeii't by a deputation .from the Victoria College Couiicil, which last evening adopted, without discussion, 1 the_ recommendations of its Finance Committee:— (a) That the council prepare a memorandum to the Government setting out the financial position of the College, submitting the probable requirements of the • College during the next five years, and urging that due financial provision be made for such requirements. (b) That a deputation wait upon the Prime Minister and Minister for Education, to lay the position of tho College before them. (c) That . the Finance Committee, after conferring with the Professorial Board, prepare such memorandum and «nd it to the Government,'and make the necessary arrangements for the deputation. ,
