FIRE AT CHRISTCHURCH.
BOWRON BROS" PREMISES. (By Telegraph-Press Association.) Chrlstohurobi July 19. An outbreak of firo occurred on the top floor of tho building owned by iWron Bros, in the ■' city early this morning. It was promptly suppressed, but the top storey was extensively damaged by fire, and tho contents of the building suffered from water. The building was insured for '£4000: and Bowron's contents for £15,400, the Royal Exchange, with an addition/)] £2000 on each in tho United. Four tenants of offices in tho building had insurances totalling £500, ■ the chief sufferer being R. Hughes, iMnnufacturers, agent, who had a lino o'l £200 in the Royal on his stock and fit&ngs.
