The Union Prime Minister, General Loiiis Botha, has decided to reside at Groote Schuur, Mr. Cecil Rhodes's residence near Cape Town. Mr.' Rhodes bequeathed the property as a residence for the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of South Africa, and endowed it with an income of. £1000. !. The Uniou Government will devote ialf a million pounds to the establishing of a teaching university at Groote Schuur.
