VANCOUVER SERVICE.
"In reference to. the cable from Sydney 011 July 12, vhicli stated that it was the intention of the Union Company to build two, new steamers to run on the Pacific coast, it appears that the reference was to the Vancouver service. Vessels flying other than the American flag cannot carry cargo or passengers from one American port to another.
