Ward (Dunedin) for rescuing Frank Fox from death or serious injury at Dunedin, on January 27 last; .Benjamin Daley, for -rescuing Alfred Hampton from drowning at Port Pega6US, ibteTTart Island, on August 11, 1909; I'iran Rait, for rescuing Robt. W. Wilson from drowning at Lake Laetitia, Mount White Station. Bronze medala ero awarded to William Dobukker, for rescuing J. B. Nancekiville from .drown-, ing at Ross, ou February 5; Reginald 'L. Yarr, for rescuing F. J. S. Adams, irom drowning at Napier, on March !K); Jame3 Phillips, for rescuing Maggie vPetrie from drowning at Kairaki Beach, Kaiapoi, January 3; Percy J. Bailey, for rescuing Gilbert C. Armstrong from drowning at Castlecliff Beach, on December 19, 1909; George Tennant An-, derson, for rescuing -Win. 1 ,, . M'Arthur from drowning, at..Corsair v i3a>, Lyttelton, on December 27, 1909; Arthur Hargreave, for rescuing Walter T. Kisby irom drowning at 'I'e Henui, New Plymouth; Hy. Glendinriing, for attempting to rescue Oscar Olson from drowning at Wangaimi, on August 20, 1909; Herbert Perry, for attempting to rescue from drowning Win. Jeffs at Brighton Beach, Dunedin, on January 17. Several certificates and letters of commendation are also awarded.
