RAILWAY SERVANTS.
A HAWERA RESOLUTION. (By Telegraph.—l'rsss Association.) Hawera, July 15. In reference to the question of the proposed direct representation of the Locomotive Engine-drivers, Firemen, and Cleaners' Association, on the Amalgamated Society of the Railway Servants' Association, the Hawera branch of the L.E.F.C. Association has passed the following resolution:—"This branch (representing 95 per cent, of the Jocoraotivo staff of Hawera), being of opinion that the move is antagonistic to the progress of tho Association, strongly protest against swell suggestion, and earnestly urge all locomotive men to refrain from voting on the question." ■
