The hnromctcr has fallen everywhere, and especially in the far north. The weather hds continued unsettled and showery, but the winds have been variable and moderate. Present indications are for heavy rain and floods in the North Island and the northern • parts of the South Island. Rain is probable, with unsettled weather, everywhere. Stroug easterly winds will probably prevail, but stormy conditions may be expected to follow. The southerly gale due on Monday to commence in the south is now likely to come sooner and spread over the wlio'o country, with colder weather and snow on ■ tho higher levels. . D. O. BATES.
