: « ■ The usual ambulance meeting was leld at tho Missions to Seamen Institute last evening, a large audience being present. Mr. James Moore, tho missionor, showed, tho methods of bandaging broken limbs, wounds, burns, etc. He also spoke at somo length on health matters, giving various hints helpful in cases of sickness. Competitions in connection with first aid were entered into with a good deal of energy by several of the seamen present, the winners receiving..prizes. Miss Sewell was responsible for an enjoyable programme of music, tho . Misses Sewell (3) and Mr. Hill contributing. Jliss . Sewell. played the accompaniments. The performers were accorded a hearty vote of thanks at the conclusion of the meeting.
