HAWKE'S BAY KENNEL CLUB.
(By Telcgraph.-Press Association.) Napier, July ]'>. Tlio annual show of the iiawkc's Bay Kennel Club opened to-day in wet weather. The number of entries is .the largest which tho club has had, and tlio quality of tho exhibits is good. A. C. Howe almost swept the ■ boards in black cooker spaniels, as did E. C. Aldridge and W. A. Jones in tho other colour classes. In rougli-coated collies, G. 0. Parker had a field day, and C'. \V. Davis took tho bulk of the prizes for working sheep dogs and smoothcoated collics, as well as the trophy presented for jthis section. Reflector, an English-bred smooth-coated foxterrier puppy, exhibited by N. Wade, went through all his classes successfully. I" wire-haired fox-terriers C. L. Thomas almost monopolised tlio prizetickets. Tlio trophy presented by the riawko's Bay Hunt Club went to the _!N T orth 'laraiiaki Hunt Club's entries.
