It provides for a eliding scale. A Bill providing for the payment. of twenty-five shillings . per liead to the Status for ten years was introduced in the House of Representatives and read a first time. SENATE ADJOURNS. (Rcc. July 15, 1.15 a.m.) Melbourne, July H. Tho Federal Senate has finished all available work, and has adjourned until August 3.
