Messrs. Dalgety and Co, Ltd., report :— At our Huhterville sale yesterday a good yarding of cattle met with a ready sale. Small weaners, £2 25.; yearling heifers to £2 15s. 6d.; mixed yearlings, to £5 Is.. 6d.; two-year steers, to £4 155.; empty cows, to £3 25.; light, fat cows, to £4 155.; backward dairy cows, £4 IDs.; ditto, heifers, £5 7s. 6d.; on 'account of Mr. J. Bull, Shorthorn weaners, heifers, £2 145.; ditto, steers, £2 135.; on account of Mr. J. Barthorp, three-year Shorthorn steers, £6 Us. 6d.
