Tho local' Druids 'were' again too strong for Foresters in the card tournament game, winning by 24 to 16. The scores were: Druids, 24; Foresters, IG. The Chamber of Commerce has rei coived a letter from: the Department of Justice-"'.stating a District Official Assignee could not be appointed for' Feilding unless it could be shown that serious inconvenience was -caused; through not having such an official. Exhibition Committee has written to. the Feilding Cham* ber of Commerce stating that, the Wol* lington Industrial Exhibition was to be. held in 1911J Mr. Richard Cobbe suggested that, as tlie;Wellington Exhibition was not to be a large affair, the Feilding Exhibition should be held next year, hut the chamber has adopted the suggestion of tho A. and P. Association's Committee to hold it in .1912..
