DANNEVIRKE LAD'S OFFENCES.
A WAHNING. A youth named Staniluns Wysoeki, who hud pleaded guilty at Dannovirke to charges of theft and false pretences, was •brought before the Chief Justice (Sir liobert Stout) yesterday for sentence. Hγ. n. H. Osllcr represented the Crown, and Jlr. M. Myers appeared for the prisoner.
Mr. Myers pointed out that Wysocki had been convicted previously of theft, when only eleven years of njfe, bnfc this ehoulil not bo counted against him by his Honour, in considering an application for probation. The lad's parents \vero respectable people, who had lived at Daiinevirke for close on twenty years.
Mr. Ostler snid that the Crown oflered no objection to the granting of probation.
His Honour warned tho young man, and ordered him io come up for sentence when called upon.
