FARMERS'UNION CONFERENCE

OPENS TO-DAW The annual, conference of tho New Zealand Farmers Union will bo opened this morning at tho head offices of the union, in the National Mutual buildings, Custom Houso Quay. The fixture is the ninth of its kind. ilr. J. G. AVilson, the Dominion president, will preside. There is a fnirly heavy order paper, but tho conference- is expected to risb on Thursday afternoon. , .

Among those who aro expected to bo present are: Messrs. G. W. 'Londlcy, Wiiknum, vice-president; J. C. Cooper, Taue; W. J. birch, iianon; D. ATurejsur, jun., Masterton; H. J. Richards, Levin; A. E.
