NEW ZEALAND'S WOOL SALES.
INCREASED OFFERINGS. During last month 2609 bales of Wool were offered lor sale in the Dominion, and of that quantity 2541 hales Were sold. Napier had the highest offering—l 346 bales, of which all but two. were quitted. For the twelve months there was an .increase, as. compared with last-year, in sales of 61,198 bales; tho respective .quantities were 206,948 bales, and 205,750,ba1e5. . . . ■ The following are tho details of the wool offerings and the sales, which particulars have been supplied by Messrs. ■Dalgety and Co., Ltd.: —Dunedin: Juno, offored 163 bales,- sold 128; year 1910, offered 44,605, sold 41,386; 1909, offered 39,979, sold. 36,676. Timaru: 50 and 50j 20,866 and 24,973, 25,255 and 21,765. Christchurch: 157 ' and 157, 56,122 and 52,765, 51,233 and 46,499. Wellington: 599 and 577, 60,988 and 55,357, 18,516 and 43,169. Napier: . 1346 and 1344 , 53,983 and 51,381, .29,343 and 26,826. Gisborne: 207 and 198, 6992 and 6592, 1156 and 1006. .Auckland:' 87 and 87, 16,530 and 15,822, '14,869 and 13,141. Invercargill: ■ and , 19,753 and 18,372,, 18,0-13 and 16,668. Totals: 2G09 and 2541, 285,839 and 266.948, 228,394 and 205,750.
