LIVE-STOCK SALES.

Messrs. Dalgety and 00., Ltd., report:— At our Palmerston North stock sale yesterday a. very fair entry came to hand, all classes being, fairly ready of talc, considering the rough weather, and nearly all lots changed hands. We quote:—Cull ewes. 7s. Id. to Bs.; mixed age breeding ewes, lis. Id., 12s. 7d. to ■ 12s. Bd.; f.f.in. ev;cs in lamb, to 14s. fid.; fat and forward wethers, 15s. 6c].; bulls, 355.; wcauers, Jersey-cross heifers, £2 25.; forward do., £3, £3 lis., £3 155.; light, fat cows, £4 16s. 6d.

Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our Palmerston North sate held on Thursday we had a large of sheep of all classes, which, despite the very rough weather, met with a brisk sale, very little going out unsold. Wc quote:--Two-tootli ewes in lamb, 15s. 3d.; 4 and 6tooth ewes in lamb, 15s. Ed.; 4 and 5-year llomney ewes in lamb, 135.; .2, 4, 6, and f.m. ewes in lamb, 12s. lid., 12s. 4d., Bs. lid.; ewe hoggets, B=. 6d., 12s. to 12s. 9d; wether hoggets., 7s. lid to ICs. 3d.; mixed hoggets, Bs. lid., lis. Id. to 13s. 3d.; fat ewes, lis. 7d.; fat wethers. 155.; cull ewes. 4s. 6d. Cattle came forward in small numbers, most .being sold. Fat cows, £4 15s. to £5 165.; springing co'.vs, £3 lis., £3 17s. 6d., £4 155., to £6; store cows, £2 55.; weaucr lieifers, 22a.

Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report:—At Palmersioii North yesterday we had a good entry of both sheep and cattle, ant), in spite of tile rough weather, wc had a 1 good clearance at satisfactory' prices. We quote:— Sheep: Aged ewes, 6s. 6(1. to 9s. 5d.; forward wethers. 15s. lOd.; forward ewes, lis. Id.; f.m. ewes in lamb. lis. 7d. to 12s. 5d.:
