Many Anglican High Churchmen are demurring to the expression in the proposed new Declaration wherein the Sovereign declares his membership of tho "Protestant Reformed Church."

The High Church party objects to the Anglican Church being described as Protestant They state that tho word Protestant is never used in tho Prayer Book, tho Chnrch being referred to as Catholic. Others contend that tho Anglican Church is both Catholic and Protestant, and that the two terms arc not mutually exclusive.
