KARORI SLIP.

TEAMS STILL BLOCKED. "Through" tram traffic to Karori, which was interrupted by a landslip near the quarry on Tuesday, has not yet been resumed. It was found that before the cars could run past safely, a great quantity of additional earth left hanging at the top of the hill must be cut away and removed. A large gang of men were working all day vcstordav, cutting down the loose earth and tipping it from drays down the deviation. It is hoped that the track may be sufficiently completed to allow the cars to rim right through to Karori this afternoon, but it is quite possible that they will not bo able to do so till to-morrow. Fortunately it is only a verv short walk from the scene of the slip, which marks the present terminus of the car service' to Karori.
